Step Stone Stillness Poem by Daniel Miltz

Step Stone Stillness

Once upon a rocky
Beach day splendid
I sat engaged and meditating
I heard happy silent chatting
Deep into afternoon trance
I marvelled, the lonely achievement
My passion the silent prelude
Peace, like an ocean breath of stones
On that day, my soul grew happy
Staring on a sunshiny
Peaceful stone stepping shore
Bridge foothold of stillness
