Statuesque Poem by Daniel Miltz

Statuesque

Sculpture so stunning rise above
It's ideal diagram
The bends, shapes
In a standing position
Torturing me with its spirit
Upended tall and glimmering
Large single upright block of stone
A straight-up figurine
A three-dimensional work of art
Shaped into serving
As a pillar or monument
For all of time
