State Of My Life Poem by Janid Kashmiri

State Of My Life

The state of my life has become,
An obstacle in the path of living.

Every dream now feels incomplete,
A blanket of despair, joy's retreat.

Loneliness deep in the heart does start,
Shadows of memories, tear me apart.

The lamps of hope have flickered and died,
Desires burned, wishes cast aside.

Every road unfamiliar, darkness at every turn,
The light so faint, I can barely discern.

Every wave of pain pierces through,
Wounds uncountable, nothing feels new.

The echo of silence in every word I say,
Sound's reverberation fades away.
