But I did read today of a planned quest to land humans on Mars, using nuclear thermal propulsion. Or is it thermal nuclear?

OK, i CAME CRAWLING BACK, ex-WAVE. I like the title and your rather long sentence, kept together by commas. The title did suggest to be a bird 'starling'.
