Starved To Death
Neglected and belittled,
The commoners of the state.
Dignity and rights as human
Were taken away from them.
They were left to starve
And die crawling to their own graves.
By those who have power to help,
They were actually killed.
How can the rulers fail to extend
Hands that have power to save?
How can the rulers kill the innocents
By the blade of greediness for profit?
