Stars Of The Nights Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Stars Of The Nights

Stars Of The Nights

As stars shine in their distant pasts,
Beyond me and as i become this child, this man,
This wishesto know your stories,

While mine may possibly expire soon,
And selfish me may not know a God and among yours,

You will die with me as i walked on those acres of land mass, and like all travelers,
Retains only the songs of these lovely nights and the open roads.

You will live with me as i have lived with you, wishing in my immortal soul to follow your immortal steps,

In the passage of time a wishing soul,
As a God i prayed to who never answer my calls,

But gave the night your sparkling jewelries, giveimmortality the soul of thought,

The blinking eyes and the winks ofsurprise,
Yes a pleasant gifts of surprise and theblinking of these lovely eyes.
