Stars Became The Night (What Do I Do With Your Love?) Poem by Miss Grace

Stars Became The Night (What Do I Do With Your Love?)

Tiny feet, an even tinier jump
something caught this
Little Dove's eyes.
starry eyes

But what will the
barren land do
with rain when all of the
seeds of hope are long dead.

what does an illiterate do with a book?
what does the defeated do with the sword?
what does the dead do with your guilt?
what do I do with your love?
asked the woman
as she bore her eyes,
as jet black as the night
into you, when you returned
and found her waiting exactly where
you had left her...
