A poet would never ask for the moon.
When he already has the stars.
oh dear what is the big and amazing relation between Star and moon in this lovely poem? it is so marvellous and well penned 10++
Nice one Shaun...very imaginative! I recall a quip from Oscar Wilde, 'All of us are in the gutter/ but some of us are looking at the stars.' Hopefully, we poets will continue to look at the stars, rather than merely seek points, which as you've pointed out before is meaningless and, in my opinion, very infantile. Treasure Island is for children. It's certainly a starry- eyed ten from me!
