This resonates so much with me in view of Mental Health Day and also remembering people like the lovely Caroline Flack who sadly felt that their 'Stardom' was no comforter to their pain. Wonderful parody of the Kiki Dee song Shaun...very clever! The U.K press/ media seem to build up stars only to bring them down (as you rightly point out in stanza 3) ..I'm thinking of Amy Winehouse here. It's definitely a fame can be fatal inspired five from me.
