I liked this interesting and well writen poem, Sandra, and being a bit familiar with some Indian customs, I am well aware of how they consider marriage. It's somewhat like shopping for a new car, in some respects! the parents and relatives concern themselves with lineage and social standing and other nonsencial things (at least to Americans) , and often the couple never meet until their wedding day-heck of a way to start off a lifetime commitment! Anyway, I thought your poem was a very good one which told it like it was very well. Carl.
after having a fall being able to stand tall and that too positively is indeed great

Standing tall after stamping on a corpse of unrequited love..........Good Write10+++
Sorrow to redemption! ! Beautifully captivated. Are you sure this is just a hobby?
Sandra you are one of the sweetest, most generous people I have ever known in my life..can only imagine how much more so you would be in real life than virtual life, and I must say: he really messed up big time..and has his whole life to regret the error, lol. And you now have your whole life to spend with others who appreciate you fully. Sorry that you suffered so through it, but how freeing to finally be able to write about it; and thank god it is all over with now..(smile)
