Standing Still

Even as I say these words,
my doubts and fears wash over me.
I'm torn between the here and now;
uncertain where I want to be.
There's many paths that I may take,
and dreams that float on clouded skies.
I grasp at them as if to choose,
then stop, and let them pass me by...
