Stand Thou The Test Poem by Emmatobs de thought writer

Stand Thou The Test

Do your path dark as night
And it seems everything isn't right
Courage brother! Do not stumble
Cos there is a star to guide the humble

Though your heart is meekness bend
And no other way to mend
Your road is rough and dreary
Foot it bravely! Strong or weary

Although dark demons attack your soul
And through your eyes tears roll
Though all what you can see is painful pain
Worry not! For he'll fall a peaceful rain

Misfortune may comes your way
And it seems nothing good in all your day
Look ye on him who die upon a tree
Acquaint thyself with one who mourned for thee

Do everything feels like out of sight
And you think there is no light
Stand thou the test
Cos tried gold is best

Let not your heart be trouble
For thy goodness will be double
Perish the fear, policy and the cunning
Whether losing, whether winning

Parent may look with scornful eyes
And you feel like to run high
Just keep walking around his arm
Trust in him cos he'll keep you from every harm

Friend may look like angel bright
Some will hate, love, flatter or slight
Trust in him cos he'll guide thee with his eye
Up to the realms on high

Trust no one, party or faction
Either in their words or action
Trust no leader in the fight
Trust in God cos he knows the right

From dross and sin set free
The master's image see
Cos God is at thy right hand
Firm shalt thou ever stand
