O gather only but such of wealth
That wends its way afar comes when death.
Bearing a bale on head
Of all he hath hoarded,
No man's seen going to Yama's stead.

Given here under is the original couplet in Hindi and its transliteration in English Roman.
कबीर सो धन संचे, जो आगे को होय,
सीस चढ़ाए पोटली, ले जात न देख्यो कोय.
Kabeer so dhan sanche, jo āge ko hoye,
Sīs chađhāe poţalī, le jāt na dekhyo koye.
Earn and gather such wealth that is of use in future, afterlife, Kabeer says. For, I have never seen a man who has gone from this mortal land bearing a bale of lifelong accumulated wealth on his head. On the Day of Judgment, virtues and good deeds reach well before a dead man might report there.

A remarkable Limerick on wealth and virtue is well executed taking the original poem of St Kabir. Thanks for placing the original poem to be juxtaposed.
