कबीर तन पंछी भया, जहां मन तहां उडी जाइ,
जो जैसी संगती कर, सो तैसा ही फल पाइ.
Kabeer tan panćhī bhayā, jahān man tahān uđī jāi,
Jo jaisī sangatī kar, so taisā hī phala pāi.
This mortal man's body is like a bird. Whereso goes his mind thereto off it flies. It is true: howso be one's company, so is the fruit he fetches.
