Pigeon is a beautiful and useful bird. Leaf carries letter. Calmness is inside own mind. This we should feel. Soul is pure. Nature impacts on soul. This is a great poem and you are a nice poet.

picture of Fay Slimm xA delightful verse full of interest about the beautiful pigeon and its breeding habits. So well crafted this poem had my attention from the first - thank you my friend for this reminder of the wonders of nature found in these birds. A fine example of parental care is surely a lesson for those who would see. 11 Jan 2015 by Fay Slimm | Reply picture of Todd Wooton xI always liked pigeons... When I lived in a more urban area, people would put poison out on their windowsills to get rid of the poor birds; so sad, how people treat animals that would never do anything to harm them. 12 Jan 2015 by Todd Wooton | Reply
