Spring To Autumn, One Courting Day Poem by james watkin

Spring To Autumn, One Courting Day

A normal, guiltless farewell.
Warm face-turned; a gentleman's;
In waving off thus.
That lonely chill, which blows up!
Unforeseen, registered as
A force, treacherous!

Now again is one swept up
Emotionally; but within
A roguish embrace.
Down which wet path, dark, darker
A dismal mood reflects is
Autumnal to trace.

"Spring to Autumn ", the cruel summer subsumed…… Swept…..'within a roguishish embrace """. ‘roguishish'? A printing error or intended? Any in looks marvellous. Please don't correct it. Bravo
