Spring Flowers Poem by james watkin

Spring Flowers

Rating: 5.0

A vow of silence, that keeps;
As pure understood.
Of one will, at work always
This sweet brotherhood
Of 'vere flores'; to assuage
Man's rigour; man's rage.

A holy retreat's, high-walled
Its blessed garden - place.
Apart quaint-faint cooing, all
From this side to trace
Is of that spirit blowy
Scented for Beauty.
