Rating: 5.0

When the sun glowed warm with brighter sheen
The Earth that lay inert in drunken sleep
Woke up suddenly to greet the glorious dawn
Casting aside the blanket of fluffy wool

Part - 2 And fill the hearts with overwhelming cheer / Let us join this array of happy crowd / And sing a song of joy with this mirthful brood. A beautiful poem on Spring is astutely and incisively delineated by you dear madam, I vote here full ten out of ten.

Part - 1 When spring appears a charming environment is felt. Each tree and’ each shrub is dressed in soft new leaves. New buds are burst. Butterflies flit round and round on colorful wings and exotic blooms in gentle breeze swinging their heads. Sparrows merrily twitter around tiled eaves.Spring plays a vital role in joy of lives. The concluding stanza says much about it. It may be cited here....Oh! Spring has come to wipe away the frosty tear /

Spring came down gracefully on dancing feet. Brush-stroke image of the spring, with this top point (for me) . I want to be stingy and I say just: Beaufiful

And sing a song of joy with this mirthful brood, According to Hindu philosophy, living creature was bestowed upon a season for love and reproduction. Spring season is designed for it. Beauty of flowers, melody of music, the pleasant wind, every thing accelerates the instinct of love. Your response in the shape of a poem is a nice response.

well, valsa, i have quickly skimmed the preceding (why does preceding not have 3 es?) comments, and it seems they are ALL favorable. it may be a special challenge for me to find anything wrong with it, but I'LL TRY! :) bri now to read it................... well you certainly make the point that spring (in certain climes) brings new or returning life and colorful blossoms to enhance mankind's enjoyment of the warmer weather. i'll have to spend more time another day critiquing it! yes, it is spring here in northern California, but, unlike in my home state of New York, here, near the pacific coast, we have relatively mild temps even in the winter and no snow at lower elevations. seeing hummingbirds and blossoms in the winter here is not unusual; in new york those birdies would surely starve to death if they didn't freeze to death first. thanks for sharing. bri :)

Penned to the core of nature, to the very SELF of the blessed spring. Felt like being there, seeing those giggling blossoms, responding to the chaff of the gentle breeze. the list of singers, whose cute lil features, and the euphonious notes that comforts nature and man alike! Spring with her glamour, as the blessed successor of chilling, lethargic winter has always been an enticing feast most bards of this cute planet often found delight in crafting. Madam Valsa has done it with authenticity owing to her life long familiarity with those word-blooms. wonderful penning. God Bless.

I was thinking the other way.. I thought our God`s own country has no lovesome seasons with its peculiar sub tropical climatic conditions... A poet who has all seeing eyes cannot still skip to observe these beautiful scenic transformations... A poet has to be with awesome imagination too pen down poems of the kind.. Here goes my handsome 10 for your Lovesome Spring, madam Valsa.

This write is so amazingly beautiful. You took me on a spring trip through flowers and grassy green carpet to trees dressed in fine tapestry of leaves. Very vivid in your descriptions and you painted such a fine picture. Regards.

........It seems that your fans are really active, when it comes to reviewing your poems, and as a result I am the 6th one, (too late I feel: -) ..) But on the account of your poem, it is really lyrical and musical, especially in these days of scorching heat, when u serve us this sundae with pleasant flavors of spring........ I loved the way you personified, earth and sun and the way you incorporated in your write, different elements of nature........ kudos!
