Yes! China was a poor country. It is the most populous country. And yet, it developed economically over the years. It began to compete politically at the turn of this century. It also developed sports infrastructure. In the world, it competed with US and Russia for medals in olympic games. Now, in Asian games, it is a dominant force along with Japan. Cheers China!
