Splinters Of The Heart Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Splinters Of The Heart

Rating: 5.0

Each hurtful word,
embeds my heart.
Now sadly we must drift apart,
for what is said,
Is truly done.
Once you were my precious one.
I'll not forget,
or shall forgive.
I'll carry on,
And I shall live.
Your hurtful words,
Can not be changed,
But strength will brush my tears away.

A sad, sad poem. Thats all that I can really say. This poem drips with the tears of a broken heart--well written.
