Hi Master Strugnell! There's nothing new nor frontal in what you say; millions feel that away, but the way you say it and the language you use - the everyman's lingo, without (perhaps only) beating about the bush makes your poem a necessary rap these days, and I wish someone or other would let the fire in it all burn with fury and the tempo of bloodiness in his voice for all to hear. Many thanks T Wignesan, I'm sure you're right, it is simple, direct and maybe a little obvious, it expresses my sense of impotence when faced by powerful people and institutions. I was stung into writing this following the Brexit referendum whereby as a British citizen resident in Europe I didn't even bother to find out if I could vote in the Uk! no I have to suffer the consequences.
