Wow! Uriah, this nearly left me speechless. The images and use of language are outstanding. Extremely well done. Just one little thing: There are no positive Sterling thoughts, - need a comma after positive

I admire We're Sentimental for Sadomasochism and this new Spiritual Emasculation poem - your ability to write to the night. The people who want bunny rabbits need to go get lost in the woods.

Uriah, I hate it when you write like this. Not everything is sunshine and lightness, but your poem uses words which make it seem like the dark side is all there will ever be...'hopeless' 'suicide recitations' 'sun is fading to every possbility of love' and then the threat of the razor. Spiritual emasculation is a choice one makes. Your imagery is strong and that's what makes the poem so chilling. Turn your face to the sun, Uriah, and turn your back on that dark stagnant river. The first stanza creates such a powerful image Uriah. I think there is a dark side to everything..............and everyone. Very intense poem. Sincerely, Mary
