Spice Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Spice

Rating: 5.0

pumpkin spice coffee
or mulled hot apple cider
october magic

pecan pie muffins
cinnamon hot chocolate
as the red leaves fall

white november days
eggnog in the afternoon
sledding at twilight

december teatime
a fruitcake on the table
and cardinals sing

I love this beautifully crafted poem. It shows how we could enjoy the cold season with great and comforting foods. Beautifully written and presented.
