I loved the idea of the 'kindness revolt'- there's some change for us that politics can never deliver (no matter what it keeps on promising) . I tried to see if I had commented on this before but it would never allow me to see 'all 16 comments'. Anyway if I did comment before, it's still a marvelous job here.

WOW. Really excellent. This poem speaks volumes to me. I have a friend in Malaysia who spends her days tirelessly working on behalf of others. She is my heroine. She is wonderful and has a beautiful soul and the kindest heart. This poem speaks about her to me and I love it. It is so profound what one speck can do in the dust storm swirling around us. Beautiful and may i share this with her? She was the first to have one of my poems published on her non profit sites blog. I love the tiny speck doing so much good in the world. Brava...

Even the simplest act of kindness is significant. It must start somewhere. I'd like to be a speck of significance. Strong, positive message. Thanks.

A Poem with gigantic significance! Penned beautifully to sink the message deeply in human consciousness...... a human so small..., like a speck of dust...see how one of the small insignificant things...Can have an effect, so gigantic.. kind act.....Make a choice....a speck of dust..or of significance. VITAL MESSAGE OF LOVE. Thanks 10+++++ -

Very well written. Keep writing and thanks for sharing. I liked your concluding lines: So in each of our lives we must Make a choice of incredible importance Do we want to be just a speck of dust Or a speck of significance.

But if a butterfly in India, flapping its wings could cause a storm over the Atlantic i liked this comparison of how a little act of kindness can create such a great movement. Act of kindness and real love is always universal

We do look small in this awesome universe, but with the explanation of the capability to think, love and trust you deliver in this poem makes us superior to anything other than God. A very beautiful poem wiistten with much authority. lynn
