Spare Cuddle Poem by D.N. Rebb

Spare Cuddle

Feeling a bit sad tonight,
Feeling a bit down
It's you, I only want in sight
Into this misery, I don't want to drown

Honey, can you spare me a cuddle?
Hoping they haven't all been used
I really do hope it's no trouble
You always make me feel moved

But, I sure could use a spare cuddle
Do you have one still laying around?
Please, don't make me struggle
I haven't yet simmered down

I'll trade two of mine for next week
For your one spare cuddle tonight
Do you think we can make this tweak?
Please, tell me what you decide

I really need your spare cuddle
Content in your embrace
This defines us as a couple
First and foremost, in any case

You always make me feel happy
Creating such a warming place
I really need you so badly
Within your interlace

Honey, do you have a spare cuddle?
I don't want to be left alone
Into your arms I would hustle
There's no better place than that zone

Before my knees buckle,
Please hold me tight
Within your spare cuddle
Everything will be alright

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I misunderstood a question and thought they had asked for a spare cuddle. I can't even remember now what they actually wanted. But I thought what a great line for a poem.
