South Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

South

In the South
In the South
There be
Many voices
That have sung
Sweet
Silver and gold
As
The centuries
Ground past
And turned
That Motion that be Time:
Laurels fit their heads.
Other deserve laurels
But
In oblivion fade.
In the South
In the South.
