Hi Baswat, yes I agree with the other readers about the feelings expressed, but it seems to me a bit lacking depth and pathos. It sounds to me like a nice lullaby. I do not know the original Bengali poem and therefore cannot judge. Is it meant to be written for children? Enea

Anticipation is the longing, and the passionate waiting, the yearning for the beloved to return to once again fill a loving heart with even more love. Using the footsteps as a metaphor brings sound into this poem has given it another dimension. Lovely writing. 10 love Karin
