The soulties now lie broken,
Like vows that went unspoken.
The covenants we made in trust,
Have crumbled all to dust.
No more do these old bonds bind,
Fading lovers leave my mind.
For I was one who sought to claim,
Hearts aflame, yet wrapped in shame.
No door was left unentered,
My soul, so self-centered,
Drank deep of love's illusion,
And bore the dark collusion.
Their spirits came to haunt me,
Their shadows still would taunt me.
Demons sown in passion's bed,
A bitter harvest, pain widespread.
Yet mercy calls from skies above,
From He who is unfailing love.
The soulties now lie broken,
No more shall grief be spoken
