To be the source of Love and Light and Joy,
of Comfort, Friendship, Faith, and Peace of Mind,
to be a child of Universe employ,
is all my soul has ever sought to find.

A ray of hope to those without a prayer,
and reassurance of their destiny;
a gentle friend you know will always care,
is all my soul has ever hoped to be.

To bring to lips sweet laughter, clear and bright,
where just before, no inner spark had gleamed;
to burn my candle boldly in the night,
is all my soul has ever truly dreamed.

The greatest glory known, felt, heard, and seen,
is all my soul-and yours-have ever been.
