Wow. Such and honest poem. Very well written Ray. Added your poem to my faves. I am sorry for your loss. Deserves more then 10/10. liz
A very courageous write Ray! Grief is a journey as you describe in your poem. All griefs are different, as are all grievers. There is a hand and a right way for everyone from my own experience. I was brought up with the idea that suicide was a terrible thing, but now don't believe in death as such. They live on in love, in our hearts. I also believe that only the good die young, they go on faster than us, because of the purity of their souls. Live again to take another step up. I suppose you could call my belief budhism? I can't even spell it! I don't know what it is, but my belief has kept me alive, this past 3 years, when all I have wanted to do is not be here, so it must be powerful, this belief of mine. A big hearted 10 and so sorry for your loss. Tai
Ray, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain your family must've gone through. I'm so glad you chose to post this poem. Unfortunately I think this happens too often and I think your poem will help others see that there is a light at the end of their sorrow (if they just look for it) . This poem is so touching............heartbreaking. Beautifully written straight from the soul. I admire your courage for posting it. Sincerely, Mary
