Sometimes it really hard to apologize, when you did something so wrong to someone. You are better person then I have been on occasion, there is a couple of times when I didn't apologize to save face. The feeling of humiliation and disgrace. I loss friends over this pride. It not a place in which anyone should hide. Indeed I know exactly this poem is coming from.
