Sorry Comments

Some are 'sorry' creatures. They use that word so well; I bet you've heard it often, On this they dare not dwell. love that...Good job

I believe 'sorry' can be a healing word if we are willing to learn from our past mistakes. But only lip service, makes its usage meaningless. A nice poem highlighting how this word should be used sparingly (by avoiding the road leading towards it!)

'Sorry is as sorry does', I bet you've heard before. Pray you never see these words, They're found on Hell's front door...nice composed poem sir. i entirely agree.....10 my token reply for it... . I always say dnt do the things to have to say you're 'sorry.' Very wise write. I hear your voice in this one as well.

Saying 'sorry' in the truest sense is a humble act.Sad to say, some abused this word and go on and on, without thinking what will happen to the person being abused of this word.It is like saying I Love you, ..without the meaning of it, and is another abused word.I would like to end this comment by posting here again your lines that really pulls my heart string, and is very very well defined: ....................................................................... It's not enough to say it, And then just walk away. God requires that love be healed, Before it's held at bay. I loved it. It flowed nicely and your wording was excellent. I loved the meaning behind it, that the meaning of sorry has faded so much. It really was an excellent piece, i enjoyed it very much.

This seems very forced to me. Poetry is the song of the soul, and should sing with emotion and feeling. This piece lacks both, and is reminiscient of old poetry form...fill in the blanks. Poetry is only written like this from die hard enthusiasts. I can only give this an 8 because it does have a message, but that is all. Barbara

Passions - repeated crimes of passion, make meaningless its force. How so true. You know my late mother always said to me, when i was a child, in Igbo 'Ke i mere fe oku'. Literally it means, when the wrong you have done cools down, you commit another. That is to say, I go from one wrong to another, always making mistakes, always saying I'm sorry. My wife is weary of my thousand I'm sorrys. I really struggle not to make the same mistake twice, I just make new ones. Passions are fantastic, but deadly, as you say when repeated in crimes, the force of the real stuff is snuffed out. That's me, sometimes, years ago. But I've learnt. Thanks, I'm your sorry man. A new man, yes.I'm sorry.

Very nice poem and so true. it reminds me of the 'boy who cried wolf' because the creatures keep on saying sorry untill they aren't being belived no more and then they pay the price. I really like it and I too love the way you ended it.
