'Sorry' Poem by james watkin

'Sorry'

If too often repeated
For what is teary rued
Is its essence diluted
Prayer-bowed, soaking thus?

Strong warbling Earth, o'er and o'er
Sunk in grief, heart-refreshed!
Heaven's blessed, bow-garlanded.
Of rains purged. More precious!
