Lovely lilting rhythm throughout the poem, touching the strings of my heart and playing them like a violin with love, as the roses bloom interiorly. Thank you for such a beautiful poetical vision. RoseAnn

Soon There Will Be Roses was wonderful and beautifully written for the first week of spring. It was lovely, and every word was inspiring. The reader is like a butterfly, soaking in the magnificent aroma in a garden with hushed whispers in the shadows about the secret special meaning of Love. So well written. Simply can't say enough! - Holly Jamestone

I place my heart in a bud of perfume, soon it be revealed inside the roses...a meditation of art in nature, you recall it..i mean i love when you use nature as the subject, it fits me well again, and this is my first comment in PH after few months incubated in space LOL_SOul

Hi Val, So succinct, but full of love, and memories, I love the line If I feel them quiver I'll know you still love me. The caressing of the petals, it is life like, because roses bring that emotive feeling to feel their soft, velvet smoothness. I love it Val

A lovely tribute to roses that tells of their significance to you. I agree, roses - even a single rose - add grace and fragrance to a room.

I can't wait for the summer bloom, it's seemed so cold this year. A great poem.
