Sonnet I Poem by Forest King

Sonnet I

Rating: 5.0

Nazi's are making their way back,
Another Hitler will soon rise.
Society will come to crack,
This will surely be our demise.

Religion is just another form of indoctrination.
Is there any way everyone can live in unison?
Racism is taught in the system of education,
This hatred will lead to spilled crimson.

Fake news is the newest form of censorship.
All structure will soon fall,
Between citizen and government, there will be no relationship.
They already try to cover up the shootings at the local mall.

Another genocide or two are yet to come,
Nothing can be won or setled by a gun.

An insight piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely embellished in poetic rhyme and rhythm. Thanks for sharing Forest.

I don't think Forest King is correct about there being another Hitler on the horizon. I think this is paranoia, which sometimes works in poetry, and is nice to hear as candid in a poem, as it is an affliction that haunts many of us, but I don't think he is correct about there being organized genocide like his poem harkens.
