Good poem David - I must admit to being a tea addict myself. You might like my poem on tea, called, 'The Grand British Brew'

Hi David, It is a wonderful sonnet on 'Tea', a healthy drink. You are perfect in every line with a good message! It can oft sooth the nerves and make you calm And can be drunk whatever the weather It is that one drink that does you no harm.

You have given an epic-touch of grandeur to this common drink by writing a sonnet on it...one can feel the addiction and association with it, you say right that Tea is a healthy drink for everyone, but i think not for those who punctuate their every meal with a cup of tea, not every meal but every hour...in classical epics wine drinking for bacchanalian frenzy is discussed with a style, Alexander Pope made coffee as a burlesque for it, and used it for his satirical design...Coffee which makes a politician wise... and now your tea is the burlesque for that poetic legacy of drinks! ! ! ....nice...! ! !

Beautiful poem...A lot can happen over Tea.... Comes in delightful taste too you can choose anyway you want Black tea, Lemon tea, or tea with milk, Green tea. one more tea am adding.. Tea with milk, ginger, cardamom, which I like it. Here in India we call Masala Chai As well cutting chai...mean just half small glass.. Sir, I can see many have joined to have tea with you. Yes, tea is a healthy drink for everyone with delightful taste too. Loved reading it...

Tea is universal. It is Chai in Indian subcontinent. Coffee is the other drink but tea is tea. Tea is beautifully and tastefully delivered in the sonnet for everyone to sip. Thank you,

A great poem, I have at least twenty cups of tea a day. Tea with no milk. I could not survive without them. A great write.
