A wonderful descripition of the slow descend of night! This is the time for sleep and rest! In this connection I invite you to read my poem- A Silent night, A Holy Night!
Usually it is taken as the bewithching time of night, always in the negative connotations of darkness, fear, evils, theft, losing the way to destination and spirits....but this is a new orientation of the night time, positively presented in a slowly moving cadence that shows softly descending night! ! !
Night's sleep rejuvenates the body preparing for the day. Beautiful sonnet. Thank you.
There's nothing better than falling off to sleep hearing nature all around you as you drift off. A great poem.
