The life of tillers of the soil is always at the mercy of nature.... of rain and sunshine! But there is no point in procrastinating things. Make hay while the sun shines! An enjoyable read!

Tractors humming, bumper yield, skylarks flying, and wages low. Another beautiful sonnet. I am reminded of the opening lines of the poem 'After Apple Picking' by Robert Frost to bring out how different fruit picking is now. My long two-pointed ladder's sticking through a tree Toward heaven still. Thank you David for a nice poem
