Your sonnets are very comprehensive David, who would have thought of hedgehogs and caterpillars as a subject. Very good as always.

I never saw one hedgehog on my entire life. I just know that they roll like a ball to face the enemies. Very good description Poet. Makes me smile! ! ! !

David, you brought our the balance of nature in a lucid manner. We seem to conclude poor caterpillar and don't see the leaves eaten by the caterpillar. Thank you for another sonnet of great beauty.

How the predators prey on the innocents sleeping on? Is it possible to keep vigil night and day? Enjoyed the poem!

A great poem, the caterpillar always gets a raw deal. But in this case it gets eaten.
