This is a perfectly developed sonnet. You give a complex but transparent view of family life within the family home, the two reflecting each other. I love the line It's ever tilted to the source of light. What a wonderful situation that you have accomplished this orientation with the help of all the family and that you know this is the way you love and thrive.

This is exactly what we need for a healthy society - families which fit the description you provide here, not the squeaky clean family that is unrealistic and puts impossible pressures on ordinary families to emulate (they can't!) - and certainly not the porous family where everyone does as they please and no bonds pull the members together. In your poem you steer the middle road, neither totally free, nor totally controlled - showing respect for both children's feelings and parents' authority - such is the way to healthy, supportive, secure family life - I love this poem for showing us the possibilities of HUMAN HAPPINESS.
