I enjoy reading this form because I love to see how writers respond to the constraints imposed by forms with rules and guidelines. This one does not disappoint. I too wrote a poem (not a sonnet) about the moment I met my husband. Apparently you had a challenge on your hands, a problem to solve... Perfect for a sonnet... And the beginning of a lovely relationship...and the opportunity to separate her from love's dull churl. So it seems you not only got the rhythms and rhyming down, but also the problem, and the 'but' stanza... Well done!

With her sweet love I could gladly grow old. Love sweetly expressed. Another sonnet of beauty.
