from your bio: i have not been at my place of birth, Belize ever. i thought EVERYONE was at their place of BIRTH at least ONCE. you read one of my poems and left a comment. it led me to you and your poem. i was lucky. i am pressed by time at the moment. i usually would pick at the poem like picking at bones, making suggestions or expressing my likes and dislikes. suffice it to say that i enjoyed it. i especially was captivated? by the concept of a bird impaling itself to spur it to song. is that an original thought or is it something you had heard of before? thanks for sharing. and thank your pushy friend(s) for pushing you to write. but please don't write just to stay out of trouble with them!
