Little prince

Like a charming hero he roamed into my world
Teaching me love and care
Teaching me responsibilities
He gave a new title to me
Marking me for a new journey

He's the sunshine in my heart.
The warmth I would never lose
I cherish this little prince
For he's heaven's gift to me

His voice beats like an heavenly rhythm
His adoration fills my heart with tenderness
After a long day a look at him reminds me to smile
Because there's a blessing

Dear Lord
Shield my son from all harm
Guide his path like you did Joseph's
Teach him with warmth like you did Moses
Hold his hand always
Bless him with wisdom like you did Solomon

Dear Lord
This gift you gave
Please help me guide him
Help me to be a great parent to him always

Dear son, I'll love you til eternity
