In middle of time
When you were swimming
And I was drowning
You ended up losing
I winding up winning
This is a reality of life we experience in one way or another.A thoughtful write! 10
Yes, you're on the right path. Thank you for visiting. And for believing it to be a thoughtful write.
A paradox with the ultimate consequences of parallel activities - swimming/drowning - impossibly reversed: How can one who drowns score a victory over one who swims and just suffers wrinkled skin? What hidden fate reversed the expected? Is someone with secret knowing laughing at me? Must I accept my ignorance and stifle my curioiusity?

Wow! Talk about reversal of fortune leading to a reversal of readers' expectations. The speaker may not have the proverbial last laugh but he has a spiritual awareness that winning is not what most people think it is. I'm not sure what that real meaning of WINNING but I think I will find it reading THE KEROUAC SERIES! !
You already have, Daniel!
