Somewhere At Sea (Not One Single Star) Poem by Sophie Allyah

Somewhere At Sea (Not One Single Star)

It's pass midnight, not one single star
The sky is empty not even lightnings so far
To speed up time is to have fun
I'm planning to count every single one
Because I saw not one, but many times
Of shooting stars and lightnings on that day
I can even make a poem that rhymes
But that was last time and not today
So maybe next time when the stars abound
I'll be on my guard for the count
Now I have to finish this somehow
But I do not know when and how
Maybe I'm just waiting for them to appear
But I think today they won't, so I'll stop here
