Somewhere At Sea (Heaven Is For Real Movie Of The Day) Poem by Sophie Allyah

Somewhere At Sea (Heaven Is For Real Movie Of The Day)

In Chornomorsk, Ukraine, we wandered and
shopped and got tipsy

In Turkish Straits, we channeled Dardanelles
Strait and Bosphorus Strait
Seeing Istanbul, Turkey with amazement

Yesterday we drifted in anchorage area of
Cadiz, Spain

Now, thirteen hundred hours, at furious sea:

The wind is blowing heavily in all directions
The wintry cold is undeniably freezing me
That the rain become needles thrusting all
over my delicate body
While we bathe the vessel intensely
The whole ship is shaking as if a temblor is
at presence
Whirling dark grey sky is like lunatic drunk
Vomiting cats and dogs angrily

How long will it last? ? ?

Without wearing the right armor for this circumstance
I asked myself while I shudder greatly
Thankfully it stopped in an hour minus
the strong gale and the quake
And now I have a slight headache because
of the stormy weather and a spinning cabin
thanks to the swelled ocean
