Life and love becomes driftwood, sailing away, out of sight.. But in the darkness approaching, as hope and love become confounded, forgotten, misremembered.. Still on a clifftop, a solitary structure remains tettering, uncertain, condemned, Slowly, with trembling hands and a hopeful heart, a sanguine soul, ravenous to recapture enchantment, .......haunting expression with nice theme. Beautifully inscribed poem shared nicely. Thanks for sharing dear Lodigiana.

A very beautifully crafted free verse. You certainly have a talent for expressing words in a way that captivates the mind. Thanks Lodigiana. And congrats on recently being on the poets of the day list. A well deserved accomplishment.

So pleased you liked it Chris and thank you so much for the congrats..The Poet of the Day though is a bit of a dual edged sword as I found it attracted some not very nice comments not just towards me but towards other people who had been kind enough to comment ..but hey ho I guess thats a sign of the times we live in. Thank you once again my friend! Lodigiana x
