sometimes life
is so full
is stress and strife
but you don't have to
look into the darkness
when you can look
upon the brighter side
ain't got no secrets
ain't got nothing to hide
sometimes life
dark as night
but you can
turn it into
a beautiful light
sometimes life
tries to keep you down
but you've just got it stand up
and stand your ground

sometimes life
it gets so hard to live
but just remember
that is living
they have got
something to give
