Shipwrecks classic image hulls caved in waters rushing to drown...Here metaphor for confessional poems that seem to be deep but only scratch the surface. Without love there is no meaning and ultimately there is nothing but love the great connector and if they cannot feel worthy of receiving this gift they never will. A fine poem. Hugh
