SOMETHING I LOOK AT-401
BY- SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY
THE GREAT MASTERS OF ALANAHAT HIGH SCHOOL
ANADI CHARAN MOHANTY
KORTAL
A man of wisdom
humble and bright
Nurturing young minds with knowledge and light.
Affectionate son of Hansanath so dear
Dedicated to Saraswati
his mother sincere.
In Kortal he was born
in 1928's year.
Charmed by numbers
he shined at school
His talent in math made learning so cool.
At Balikuda High
he mastered the game
Refining his skills
earning great fame.
A lifelong teacher
with patience so grand
Nurturing young minds with a guiding hand.
Married to Pramada
a bond so divine,
Over years of teaching
he let young minds shine.
His wisdom flourished in Alanahat's halls
A beacon of knowledge within those walls.
Numbers and logic
he made them so clear
Through his kind ways
he eased every fear.
Years may pass
but he's still held dear.
Kortal, his home, where his journey began,
Overcoming struggles
shaping many a man.
Remaining so simple
so humble, so wise,
Till his last breath
he lit up the skies.
Aged eighty-seven
he bid us goodbye
Leaving his lessons to never die.
